Boston, MA - The new Emerson College poll in Alabama has Republican Roy Moore leading his Democratic challenger Doug Jones by 10 points, 55% to 45%, with about a month to go until the special election on December 12th. The ten-point margin represents a significant closing of the gap from a 22 point lead in Emersons September poll. The poll was conducted November 9th to 11th, in the immediate aftermath of a Washington Post story detailing allegations of sexual advances of Moore with an underage women within the past 40 years. The sample size is n=600, with a margin of error of +/- 3.9%.

“this was a coordinated hit by the MSM in league with Repukes like McTurtle and the support of the Dems.”
I don’t think anyone ever doubted that. Nobody.
If they said otherwise they were lying.
Sadly, it's not just the democrats. It's the republicrats as well.
“My understanding is that the chinless yurtle hinted that he may refuse to even seat him.”
That was what I was thinking until corrected by Publius and the facts.
If legally elected they cannot refuse to seat him.
Their only recourse would be removal which requires 2/3 vote.
“republicrats as well”
It’s a deep state hit job!
Its Alabama, not NY or CA. I predict Moore wins by 20%
The Ministry of Propaganda cannot understand how their dirty tricks are not working anymore.
If fairly elected, let Mitch and the Rats try to get a 2/3rds vote to expel
Moore. The dirty laundry that will be leaked on the Senate Sisters will make Moore’s unproven sin look like child’s play.
The ones calling for Moore to step aside will be accused of some very
nasty stuff too.
If all it takes is an unproven allegation to run off honorable candidates,
I can’t wait to see what allegations do to current GOP Senators...even
the fake conservatives,
Best election ever.
They can't do that. The Supreme Court ruled in, I think the 1960s, that they can only refuse to seat someone who's ineligible to be in the U.S. Senate (age, residency, etc.)
If Moore wins, it's either an expulsion vote or he is a Senator. I doubt they have two-thirds of the Senate ready to toss someone out over unsubstantiated accusations about something from decades ago, with no charges/conviction. Sets a pretty bad precedent.
if mcconnell doesn’t shut his yap he might be removed...
When is the election?
Are you suggesting that Moore drop out of the race because of an allegation of wrongdoing? I hope not. Because if that were true, we would quickly devolve into a nation where only the pre-selected few could ever be elected to leadership. Whether this accusation came from the democrats or the RINOs, clearly someone does not want Moore in Washington.
Not to be snarky, but it's literally in the first sentence of the posted article.
The thing is, we don’t know if this is all fake or Moore is a despicable dirtbag.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
I think all the freepers that are breathing with an IQ over 12 know.
It was such an obvious smear job by the media and the GOPe.
Hey, thanks for the intelligence bump.
It smells stinky, the timing is suspicious, all the never-Trumpers are lined up, but since so many prominent people are a bit hinky, how can one be sure about anyone these days?
One more thing—guilty or not—I don’t care for the moment. Let’s preserve the seat for the GOP, against the GOPe, which at least for now means voting Moore in.
Doug Jones never disavowed his underage liason.
December 12th.
The election is December 12th.
The fact the left (and GOP) is putting effort and energy AGAINST says it all about how important this seat is.
