You can shed more light on this, AB....regarding dating ages in Alabama and elsewhere in the 50’s and 60’s. Moore has a few years on you, but do you recall it being commonplace that older men dated teenagers, and in fact often married them ? (Kinda’ like Prince Charles , 32, and Dianna, 19 ! )

My sister married her husband in 1970. She was 18 and he was 30. They celebrated their 47th anniversary this year. My mother was 15 when she married my dad in California. He was 22. They had 66 years together before he passed.
