Stating to look like they aren’t screwing up - just following their game plan....
“Screwing stuff up is their super power.”
What’s the old saying? “xxxxxx could screw up a wet dream”? That would be the GOP....
What are the chances that Tooter, Eddie, and some of the other RINOs will change parties if Trump and the Republicans win the midterms? Just to “keep things fair” ya know!
Yep. Puppets of masters above the stage. ‘Republican’ means Democrat-lite, and Democrat means Communist. We’re at a critical point in America right now, imo. If they get www censored/restricted, we’re toast. Recent web blackout events are highly concerning...
The GOP has to abandon the attempts to limit tax reform to some “revenue neutral” combination of changes.
They can ignore such a target if they admit the real tax reforms are likely to grow the economy more and by economic growth raise more revenue than the “Congressional authorities” say will be raised.
By ignoring that target they can quit screwing around with trivial deductions (like teachers expenses, fire fighters uniforms, medical expense deductions) and keep the main ones, like removing the deductions for state and local taxes.
Besides, if they keep the increase in the standard deduction the actual use of some of the more minor itemized deductions is going to lessen, losing a lot of “takers” for them, as doing so loses an advantage over the increased standard deduction for many.
Trump needs to Ditch Mitch.
Trump needs to lead the way in getting rid of Mitch McConnell.
There is nothing the Senate and Congress can’t screw up pick a party.
Congressional Republicans are not screwing up, since screwing up would mean that they were merely incompetent fools.
They are, instead, actively taking things in the wrong direction.
As if Article V. was not politics.
Not to let up on Mitch but I imagine he is already working under that threat. He earned it by letting his committee chairs run rough shod over Trump. Just watch any of these investigations going on and tell me who you think is controlling those hearings.
The opening sentence reveals the author to be a fool.
As someone is reported to have said about the Palestinians, “They never miss an opportunity - to miss an opportunity.”
You are correct. Article V isn’t politics.
