Exactly right. Salon.com has already written an article stating in their opinion it would actually be helpful if Podesta did get indicted, for that very reason. They know he has no real ties to Clinton anyway, as John Podesta's leaked e-mails showed about all the two brothers ever actually talked about was pizza and pasta.
He may do just enough so the Democrats can claim total vindication. Case closed, just like Hillary claims whenever Bill’s crimes are brought up.
