We know that Satan and his minions have been subverting and attempting to derail God’s plan since his attempted usurpation of God’s throne. He is a usurper, murderer and takes great pleasure in all that is innocent and good being smeared. Yes, he is active. Yes, he is good at what he does. No, he is not omnipotent. He is a dying and defeated foe in his death throes immediately prior to Christ’s return.
I would encourage all Freepers to place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone for their salvation. The bible says that if we believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, thou shalt be saved. Today is the day of salvation.
Excellent response, refreshed!
While people may have a casual curiosity as to just what occurred that fateful day - it is much more important to see that their own fates are sealed through coming to Christ for eternal salvation.
Without Christ, anyone is subject to great oppression by Satan but thank God that His Word assures us, “greater is he (the God of creation) that is in you (us), than he that is in the world (the god of this world)” (I John 4:4).
In the wake of the Texas tragedy, those that gave their lives would be truly blessed that their sacrifices led to some lost sinner coming to the One that said that that those that believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life!”
What a wonderful day when you all meet on heaven’s bright shore!
Amen.
Amen!
