In an interview for Billboard magazine, country singer Faith Hill spoke out in favor of gun control and said it is time for the NRA to “tell the truth” about guns. Speaking about last month’s Las Vegas mass shooting, in which guns were used illegally to kill innocent concert-goers, Hill referenced the doctors who treated those wounded in the attack, saying: “The doctors that [treated] the wounded, they saw wounds like you’d see in war. That’s not right. Military weapons should not be in the hands of civilians. It’s everyone’s responsibility, including the government and the National Rifle Association, to tell the truth.”
“We all want a safe country,” the “Wild One” singer added.
Her husband, Tim McGraw, reasserted his support for “common sense” gun control during the same interview, saying, “Look, I’m a bird hunter — I love to wing-shoot. However, there is some common sense that’s necessary when it comes to gun control.”

You'd think differently if Hillary was POTUS.
As the Country Music Awards show proved, the newest crop of singers are not all that conservative. The first clue was seeing breasts of the women hanging out for the inspection of the audience. This was obviously a war on modesty. Then the jokes about Pres. Trump. We never heard a political word from the stage at the CMA during the Obama reign.
The answer is to enjoy the music of the country music stars of the past, and boycott the new crop.

If I had two warehouses, one full of guns and the other full of violent criminals and for the greater good, I could make one disappear............ I think I’d pick the people.
Shotguns have been used in virtually every war we’ve been in.
The argument these two elitists make is that “weapons of war” should be banned.
So following their logic, Mr. “Golfer with a gun” should lose his.
You’d be amazed. Nashville is full of liberal democrat musicians/songwriters. It’d been that way for years - think Willie Nelson, etc.
I hate hearing this. I hate thinking that liberals are in red states. Why can’t they just all move to California, Oregon, Washington, New York and the rest of the east coast. Stop going to red states. So frustrating.
