I found it interesting to hear a bit of FoxNews on TV tonight, and everyone was falling all over themselves to say just how horrible it was for a 32 year old man to be dating a 14 year old. All good east and west coasters, who dont seem to know very much history, and sure dont know how to question anything they hear
As late as 2003, Alabama was trying to raise the age of marriage to 18, from the current 14.

I have aunts who were married by 14. It was common and legal. And way back in the 1970s, marriage by 16, 17 or 18 was normal. Whats not normal is pretending that everyone in the past somehow must be perfect to todays fashion. Its a dangerous, malicious game I see being played out in todays headlines and accusations.
