I’m glad Moore is fighting it. I remember when Herman Cain folded instantaneously when the Bimbos came out. Just lost all energy and didn’t know what to do. Then the bimbos disappeared, of course.
Looks like the Caining of Republicans won’t happen anymore thanks to Trump. Now they fight!
Sean Hannity was comparing this to what happened to Herman Cain as well. Totally separate issues. If I recall correctly, Cain’s only problem was infidelity with adult consenting women. He could have prevented what happened by coming out in front of it, with his wife, and slipping in that their marriage had been “put to the test” in the past, blaming himself, and both proclaim they are more in love than ever, etc.
THAT APPROACH DOES WORK. Trump used it early in his campaign. Hannity or someone softballed him with questions about trouble in his prior marriages, and Trump candidly said that every problem had been due to him. Everyone knows he cheated and was a playboy. He was mature about it.
I believe Cain wouldn’t have had to drop out if he had been honest about having caused marital trouble in the past, but it was all behind the loving couple now.
Cain didn’t masturbate in front of unwilling women, didn’t rape, didn’t molest teens. His case was only a marital issue. Seems almost quaint these days.
