The 1787 ConCon was called to revise the Articles of Confederation. There wasn’t even a Constitution yet.
The result of the Convention was the creation of the United States Constitution in 1787.

Actually our present con was of 1789 origin.
Our first con was known as the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union...that saw us through the “Revolution” defeating the most mighty military empire on earth!
