His affronts to Muslims could be construed as a “High Crime” should the House choose to do so.....So. The House is above written law? Can I be, also?

The Constitution calls out Treason, Bribery and “other high crimes and misdemeanors”. Yet the high crimes and misdemeanors was never defined, as the other two, specific crimes of Treason and Bribery were.

The founders left it amorphous, deliberately. They WANTED IT TO BE A POLITICAL PROCESS.

A POTUS can commit real crime, and as Nixon said “If the POTUS does it, it’s not a crime”. And be immune from any and all prosecution...by design.

However, if there is sufficient and universal political will, he can be removed for any reason the Congress damn well pleases.

Read History.
