California NAACP Denounces Star-Spangled Banner as Racist, Anti-Black People

The California chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is calling on lawmakers to strip "The Star-Spangled Banner" of its status as the national anthem.
The state civil rights organization has been circulating two petitions in the California State Legislature, one that calls the song "one of the most racist, pro-slavery, anti-black songs in the American lexicon," and another that praises former NFL player Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the anthem, the Sacramento Bee reported.
"This song is wrong; it should have never been there, and just we didnt have it until 1931, it wont kill us if it goes away," California NAACP President Alice Huffman.....

Hasn’t been any question in my mind since the 2008 election campaign.
The mentions of slavery in the SSB refer to enemy troops enslaved ("impressed") by the British. (And one primary U.S. reason for the war was to stop the "impressment" [enslavement] of American mariners by the British.

It won't kill you if it stays, either.
One.... Two.... Three. White people are ALL sorry for the sins of their white fathers. All people of darker skin pigment are free to go back to the country of Africa they most feel their skin pigment would not cause them to feel unsafe. Any who stay, can claim to be PROUD Americans..
