Always remember the “All in the Family” episode in which Mike lectures to Archie about how the song apparently glorifies war. If you actually bothered to read about Francis Scott Key and what inspired him to write the song (the full version), the last thing to come to your mind ought be such a glorification.

My cousin Francis most certainly wasn’t glorifying war or slavery. These demonrats and felons are ignorant fools. Wait, lemme guess, they think it was written during the Civil War, right? The American Revolution poem was referring to the plight of the impressed British soldiers. Ack, bet the ignorant fools think “impressed soldiers” were big shot impressive white honkies thanks to public schools and know nothing Obama.
