Whenever I see a young woman with a black eye I now assume that she beat herself to make it look like somebody else did it.
A friend had a cousin that went through something like that. The cousin broke up with a girlfriend. She calls him up for a post break up ‘no strings attached’ booty call. After the booty call, he’s arrested for rape. She bruised herself (so says the cousin) and, of course, has physical evidence they had sex. Was in jail for months with a bond he couldn’t afford to post. Not sure whatever happened to the guy.
