Major Democrat Donor Stephen Cloobeck: If Dems Don’t Stop Class Warfare Rhetoric, ‘I’m Done’ [VIDEO]

Even as former DNC Chair Donna Brazile reveals deep-seated corruption within the Democrat Party, a liberal billionaire donor to the Democrat Party is fed up with the party’s strategy of continually using class warfare and class envy rhetoric and issued a major warning to Democrats across the country on Tuesday — if he hears the word “billionaire” one more time, he’s going to cut off their money.

Stephen Cloobeck, chairman and CEO of Diamond Resorts, a Las Vegas timeshare company, told MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle that the Democrat Party’s policy of punishing success is “so effin’ wrong.”

“When Democrats continue to say, ‘Down with the billionaires! We can’t stand the rich!’ a lot of people want to be rich,” Ruhle asked Cloobeck. “So is it the right message that the Democrats are going with?” she asked.

“It’s so effin’ wrong!”

“Whoa!” interrupted a stunned Ruhle.

“I’ve talked to Schumer, I’ve talked to Wyden, I’ve talked to Pelosi and I said, ‘If you use the term billionaires again, I’m done.’”

“Why?” a curious Ruhle inquired.

“Because it’s aspirational,” Cloobeck answered. “I didn’t start with anything. Just penalize everyone that’s done well? We all want to do well. And we should be the party of doing well. We should be a party of business and leadership. And it is very, very disturbing when I hear the ‘billionaire’ or ‘millionaire’ word. And I told them to stop it, knock it off. Because everyone wants to do really well. And this is the world of aspirations,” he said.

“And are you worried that the Democratic Party goes too far to the left?” Ruhle then asked.

“So much so it drives me nuts!” Cloobeck said with passion. “So much so it would make me quit the party. And I’ve made it very clear, I’ll cut your money off. And others will do the same. We’ve had enough,” he expressed.

Whoa! If true, good for him.

Maybe the GOP will hear him, too, and re-think their tax stance for the very wealthy. It isn’t fair to penalize the wealthy in any way. Punishing success shouldn’t be something we do.

...

He doesn’t know how it works. The Democrats will give you loopholes under the table, send lucrative contracts your way and may even slip in some favorable legislation for the right donation.

The whole idea of class warfare is to clobber the middle class, while giving the rich easy ways to avoid the assault.
