Same for Colorado, I believe... both formerly Red States not too long ago. Not a good trend.
And NV too? and soon AZ?
I think youre right about VA and CO, but the other side of the coin is that states like MI, WI, IA, and MN (former DEM strongholds) seem to be trending the other way, if recent elections are any indication. So its not all doom and gloom out there...
“Same for Colorado, I believe...”
Not as dire as VA, but the trend is not our friend.
If Trump can deliver on promises by 2020, it’s a state that’s in play. It has an independent streak to it and results could kick it back to the light . However, yeah, it has been deeply Californicated.
Same thing applies to Nevada ... Trump delivers on promises, Nevada swings to the R column.
One final note, Trump delivers, PA, WI, and MI stay in the R column.
Now do you see why the Republican party hates Trump? Trump expects results ... he gets results, they maintain/grow power :-). Many of the Rs want to spend like Democrats, but can’t since their voters expect much more from them. Therefore, they want to make sure Trump doesn’t deliver on anything. It is SO FRIGGING FRUSTRATING.
