Iconic actress Michelle Pfeiffer chimed in on the sexual assault and harassment scandal consuming Hollywood, telling the BCC on Sunday that abuse of women in the film industry is systemic.
I have never worked with Harvey, Pfeiffer said of disgraced indy film mogul Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual assault or harassment by more the 60 women. I have had some experiences, and I have to say, since this has all come out there really hasnt been one woman that Ive talked to who hasnt had an experience. And it just really goes to show you how systemic the problem is.
I know Im having conversations with women Ive known my whole life and we have never discussed this and it is coming out, said the Academy Award-nominated actress, who has graced the small and silver screens for decades, finding breakthrough success in the early 80s in Grease 2 and Scarface.
Pfeiffer believes that theres an enormous amount of course-correcting being done to root out her industrys problem with sexual misconduct.

The antonym of proactive?
It even has in impact on the careers of 60 year old actresses who peaked in "The Fabulous Baker Boys". Thanks Tolerance Sucks Rocks.
Yet theses actresses continued to work in Hollywood? So what does that make them?
Yes, they accepted the price when they wanted millions, and complain afterwards - and their silence/complicity at the time exposed following waves of female actresses to such treatment. These people are whores; I won’t be lectured by people who take their clothes off for money.
Isn’t that exactly what is happening with many of these box office disasters? I don’t follow the movie industry, so I’m hearing this on regular news. I haven’t seen a movie in a theater since the second “Hobbit” movie.
Most of these women supported Bill Clinton. They support Hillary who trashed her husbands victims.
Now they want sympathy.
Not just women, girl. Any low level in Hollyweird is exploited. Why would the women support and go with the rich exploiter otherwise... (you know, the girl
is fine when the thug lets her be queen over his slaves)
Sick of these hypocrites
I agree. So many women get the hots for a dude who enslaves other men and wish they could be the queen bee there too enslaving. Then when the thug just pokes her a bit too hard, she complains ... cry me a river, the workers commit suicide outside
Fake phoney fraud wakes up to join the fight she and all of them knew about but kept their mouths shut until someone else with morals and balls paved the way
Maybe, just maybe, they will start to clean up their own backyard, and leave the rest of us alone; stop pontificating on everything from Trump, the climate, to geopolitics. Then they can memorize their lines.
...and young male child actors.
Now she talks...with millions in the bank...earned YEARS AGO (she says) while she was condoning that behavior to get ahead? Definition of a prostitute I think.
She didn’t work with Harvey, but she must have worked with someone like Harvey. How else to explain how a no-talent bum like her made it to the top. 98.44% of Hollywood actresses are high-class hookers.
Well said. I distinctly remember an interview Carrie Fischer gave not long before her death. The question was asked, "So how did you get the role of Princess Leah?" To which Fischer casually replied, "Oh, I think I slept with someone or something."
Michelle Pfeiffer took money to take her clothes off in the movies. Did she do anything prior to get the role?
Maureen O’Hara told off Hollywood producers/directors in 1946.

They and their lawyers see opportunities here to get paid twice. The ladies who staff traditional brothels don’t get that chance.
