Speaking of husbands, if the genders in this story were reversed, there would be no call to look into the 'mental' capacity of the man, and no one would wonder why a woman would leave a firearm unguarded.
The (white) man would be just evil.
I guess the husband Andrea Yates should not have left any baths in the house.
