EG’s ads have changed over the course of several weeks. The first few were what you’d expect , a quasi-Mr. Rogers type ad, sweaters with elbow patches /s .

Now it’s a full court press on MS-13 and Sanctuary Cities. Good luck EG, send Northam off with a defeat.

Trying to figure out why ED started his campaign the way he did. I think ED’s head and heart are back pre 2008. That’s when I thought, and perhaps others did too, that those republicans, as weak as they were, was the best we could do.

Then along came Donald Trump. And it was as though we all got a shot of enthusiasm. Ed, on the other hand, doesn’t dislike Trump, but he is shocked by the changes that he brought with him. And with the passage of time and successes, he is seeing the power and strength of the right man as President.

I never really disliked ED, because he was a typical repub leader at that time. What a difference 2016 made.

That's because both candidates are basically nice guys, but about as exciting as used dish water. So their campaign managers have gone full blown Götterdämmerung with the ads these last few weeks, painting each other as the spawn of Satan.

Agree. EG has become more boldly conservative as the campaign has developed.
