Knowing California Landlord Tenant laws, if you take a homeless person into your home, it will be at least 24 months before you can kick them out if they do not want to leavers

Given California homeless advocate lawyers, you will probably go bankrupt in the process fighting the lawsuits they file against you to prevent you from evicting these people

I live in CA. Took in a homeless guy my son’s age. Met him in church, recently discharged from the Army,seemed like he needed a hand up, to get back into civilian life. I required he be sober. Landed two part time jobs,and he started paying room and board. Also went on to meth use. Got hauled off by the cops during a meltdown in my driveway, and headbutted a deputy. When he got out,I paid him $500 to evict himself. I was extremely fortunate that he accepted the offer.
