That’s a rhetorical question, right?
While he certainly weaponized them with his rhetoric and dog whistles, it didn’t work out as intended: Enough turned on Democrats in 2016 to prevent the Ice Queen from ascending the throne, and BLM (which started during Obama’s term) has made no more pretenses about it - they don’t fit, and never will.
