I believe I read that the new leadership in Saudi Arabia (who met with Trump) was going to be moderate and weed out the extremists.

Check out this twitter thread, the new (as of 6 months or something) Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was big reform. Get rid of extremists, etc.
