Better: “Economy Stronger in Trump Era”
With all the incessant Trump-bashing, people lose sight of the forest for the trees.
America is turning around and bad news constantly greets anti-Trump folks.
Hard to capitalize on discontent when things are looking up.
Normally, the economy responds so slowly that whatever is happening now is the result of policies put in place years ago. However, when Obama was president, his policies so spooked the market that business took an estimated 15 trillion dollars off the table and held it in cash. This was likely the result of what Obama did with GM; upsetting two centuries of law by giving the secured bond holders a haircut and gifting the UAW with control and ownership they didn’t earn, pay for or deserve. Along comes Trump and he demonstrates the rule of law is back. The economy was like a beach ball being held under water. It has now popped up and all the growth that didn’t take place for eight years will now take place in half that time, plus what would have happened on its own. I read the economy is growing at 4.5 %.
MAGA!
Remember, Obama used to tell us, not to pay attention to the daily gyrations of the stock market.
And I swear, just by cursory review of the mainstream media, that they really aren’t reporting very much on the ongoing good economic news, from stock market records to declining unemployment and job creation numbers. They seem to be ignoring that sort of news nowadays.
