It is not easy to expose the wrongdoing of powerful people or powerful organizations, especially if you have spent years in service to them. So, I tip my hat to Donna Brazile, a long-time Democratic Party operative and former interim chair of the DNC, for laying bare the mismanagement and exploitation of the organization she inherited last year.
Braziles damning op-ed in Politico outlined the shocking truth behind the curtains at the DNC. While many speculated that the DNC was shilling for Hillary Clinton through the 2016 primaries, I dont know if anyone truly recognized the extent of the institutionalized shadow management of the DNC by the Clinton campaign. I certainly didnt. Ive been involved in the Democratic Party in Ohio and nationally for roughly two decades.
All candidates in a primary deserve the chance to compete fairly for the votes, and in this case delegates towards the presidential nomination. It is clear that the Democratic National Committee needs to do more to rebuild trust within its ranks.
I know a number of fellow Democrats that have invested their efforts into creating a culture of accountability within the DNC going forward. Lets hope we can drain the DNC swamp quick enough to have a shot in 2018.

Bernie didn’t care
Lose the election, lose the money, see who your friends are.
Hill meet fan.
What took the writer so long to figure out how corrupt and evil the DNC and its leaders are?
Of course not. He got a 600K lake house out of it.
I have sister who is a Democrat. She trusts these people. A lot of them do. Will be a rude awakening.
Doing the happy dance...
I have a brother who is a Democrat. When the facts stare him in the face about the DNC he simply believes it’s GOP propaganda.
Every time.
I certainly didnt.
Then youre stupid.

Capri is one of the least offensive liberal talking heads on FNC. I only have to mute her about half of the time.
It also accounts for Hillary's blatant "The Democrat party c'est moi!" that pervaded the campaign - it really was, in a sense, true. One so convinced might well regard Bernie, who had, after all, only been a Democrat since the previous December, as an outsider and a usurper, and it accounts for the utter mystification that resulted when Bernie's fans took umbrage and departed.
As the author suggests, it doesn't look as if Hillary will give the Democrat party back to the Democrats any time soon. It's been bought and paid for, after all. And while politicians once bought are notoriously fickle, ones bought by Al Capone tend to toe the line a little closer. And her antics on her recent book tour reveal not only that she has no intention of doing so but that she does not consider it necessary even to wait for the next election to occupy the Oval Office if she can manage to put the skids under its present occupant. She does not consider herself any standard-bearer for the party, she considers the party to be the standard-bearer for her. And at least through the 8th of November 2016 she had the stranglehold on the purse to back it up.
That seems to make him look like a cheap Ho.
At least he could have got a several million dollar mansion, don’t you think?
I mean, the Clinton Foundation was stuffed with cash from the Iranians through Moscow for all that uranium, no?
Seriously, the funny part here... Mueller is scrapping the evidence like someone scrapping dog $hit from a boot, and all the driveby media is purposefully ignoring this!
We aren’t in the United States of America anymore. RIP.
All acts of sleaze are resume enhancements for democrats.
As a conservative, I’m shocked that anyone is still a Democrat.
Hope you don’t mind the ping.
That is my brother and sister.
By the sad look on that woman’s face, the pic must be at the Democratic convention.
