The only thing missing from the Eloi/Morlock comparison is adding a "Pray for (latest city to be attacked) Facebook profile picture filter". Then it would be perfect.

That is our version of planting the flowers the next day since they tell us to only pray (or send “thoughts”) to those affected and never to pray to Lord Jesus to come back and banish Allah and his followers to the pit of fire.

That would be insensitive, as the Eloi would explain.
