Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the swamp
American Thinker ^ | 11/2/17 | Robert Arvay

Posted on 11/02/2017 3:08:31 AM PDT by markomalley

As one alternate juror put it, "I felt like a little kid that finds out there is no Santa Claus."  This was the remark of one citizen who observed testimony and other evidence arising from the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident, in which an innocent woman and her 14-year-old son were ambushed and gunned down by federal agents over what was, at worst, a minor infraction that could easily have been remedied without violence.

Then, in the following year, the Waco incident proved, once again, that there is no government Santa Claus.  Seventy-six men, women, and children were killed in a fire started by the improper use of tear gas by federal agents after four of the agents were killed trying to gain forced entry to the building housing the targeted cult members.  Yet the cult leader could easily have been arrested in prior days, when he had voluntarily visited the federal office to which he had been summoned.

(snip)

The Obama administration was, as far as I can see, a criminal enterprise. It was as if the Mafia had taken control of the nation. It took the good fortune of an unexpected election of a rogue candidate to the office of the presidency to expose just how deep is that cesspool of depravity in Washington.

That unexpectedness was key. Had Trump been far head in the polls for an entire year, had his election been widely predicted by the media, there would have been time enough for the inmates to destroy more of the evidence, to (so to speak) wipe their servers with a cloth, and to fabricate better lies. They confidently assumed that Clinton would win and that her presidency would continue to shield them, to continue filling the trough from which they slurped.

I have not forgotten.

Nor have I.

And nothing has changed to prevent it from happening again.

We see the difficulty President Trump is having to bring about even small changes in the attitudes and culture within the federal government.

I believe I’ve mentioned dozens of times, the Clinton/Obama crime families. All of them deserve the squad treatment.

Use of military peronnel and equipment from Ft. Hood at the seige and destruction of the Branch Dividian compound was a a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act that bars use of the U.S. military for civilian law-enforcement activities.

But nothing was ever done about it. No one was held accountable.

"According to a report by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the list of military personnel and equipment used at Waco included: 15 active-duty military personnel, 13 Texas National Guard personnel, nine Bradley fighting vehicles, five combat-engineer vehicles, one tank-retrieval vehicle and two M1A1 Abrams tanks. Additionally, Fort Hood reportedly was used for much of the training for the bloody attack on the Davidians and their children."

Fortunately, nobody in government is capable of murdering Americans on a Tuesday.

In my opinion they were the definition of a cult. That shouldn't have any impact on analyzing what happened except in practical terms, eg would their beliefs have led them to light their own compound in fire.

The fact that pyrotechnics were found in the rubble and the FBI admitted to using them after 6 years of denial is worth noting. In the very least the FBI thought they could have inadvertantly caused the fire. That said, various statements by BDs suggest that they might have been open to mass suicide, and certainly they had a lot of fuel that was at least improperly stored.

The people today who argue that there is no deep state, simply do not know what has happened in the past.

Hillary’s Waco really dwarfs all else she has done.
