I have not forgotten. Nor have I.
And nothing has changed to prevent it from happening again.
We see the difficulty President Trump is having to bring about even small changes in the attitudes and culture within the federal government.

I believe I’ve mentioned dozens of times, the Clinton/Obama crime families. All of them deserve the squad treatment.

Use of military peronnel and equipment from Ft. Hood at the seige and destruction of the Branch Dividian compound was a a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act that bars use of the U.S. military for civilian law-enforcement activities.
But nothing was ever done about it. No one was held accountable.
"According to a report by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the list of military personnel and equipment used at Waco included: 15 active-duty military personnel, 13 Texas National Guard personnel, nine Bradley fighting vehicles, five combat-engineer vehicles, one tank-retrieval vehicle and two M1A1 Abrams tanks. Additionally, Fort Hood reportedly was used for much of the training for the bloody attack on the Davidians and their children."

In my opinion they were the definition of a cult. That shouldn't have any impact on analyzing what happened except in practical terms, eg would their beliefs have led them to light their own compound in fire.
The fact that pyrotechnics were found in the rubble and the FBI admitted to using them after 6 years of denial is worth noting. In the very least the FBI thought they could have inadvertantly caused the fire. That said, various statements by BDs suggest that they might have been open to mass suicide, and certainly they had a lot of fuel that was at least improperly stored.

The people today who argue that there is no deep state, simply do not know what has happened in the past.
