This argument in defense of Islam, however, is way past the point of getting old. One must also take into account the frequency of these acts. People who practice Islam, are committing these types of acts on a frequency level at least a 1,000 times greater than a Christian. Often times the Christian does not even claim he is doing it for religious reasons, because most likely he isn't. The majority of the time he has a history of mental issues.

I remember being told by my Catholic sister in elementary school about life after death. I was told that there will be an eternal feast of everything I would want to eat. I often asked how would I want to eat if my body was in the grave? My answer always was, “It is one of the mysteries of God.” In my adult thinking, this idea was actually human utopia and not the real world of eternal paradise. However, eternal life was always better than eternal damnation.
As humans we all enjoy our limited life on earth which can fall into sinful behavior that requires spiritual atonement. Sayfullo Saipov, I am sure, was sinful. I wonder how many strip shows he watched before he thought it was time to guarantee paradise with the promise of 72 virgins (the houris). In his indoctrinated minds he envisioned the enjoyment of eternal lap dances and all that he would desire. It is amazing that so many stupid people fall for this eternal vision of feast. In my thinking, without the body, there is no carnal enjoyment. It is this play on human fantasy that needs change, much like it changed in my mind. It is time for a Reformation in Islam.
The catholics have done that, but not the Christians, hence why Christians fled Europe etc. Mostly it was the Spanish catholics, they were a crazy bunch.
That said, there’s no way anyone can mistake this islamist for Catholic, that’s sheer idiocy.
