The woman enters into an affair with the politician, sneaks access to his computer to get his personal contacts, and then breaks it off by telling his wife about it?

Does she think she's now going to be a lobbyist with a Rolodex, or a lobbyist with a reputation?

That’s a good question. I suppose her boss must have told her to sabotage his career and his marriage. Maybe he was a politician who wouldn’t stay bought.

I can also imagine him telling her, “I’ll promise you anything if you love me tonight!”
