No excuse or shooting somebody......
However, the sheer arrogance and pack mentality of cyclists when they hog the roadway is quite irritating......go single file instead of being a two-wheeled roadblock and deliberately attempting to see how dangerously close one can get to a vehicle passing you....you may make more friends.

I firmly agree. It used to really tick me off, as one of the riders in those packs, when guys would blatantly hog the lane. And as a pedestrian I like to get across the street as fast as possible to avoid impeding traffic. For me, it is all about traffic flow, whether I’m on a bike, in my car, or on foot. And rudely impeding traffic in any of those situations is inappropriate.
