If Astros lose Game 6 then Dodgers will be favored to win Game 7 and the Series.
Kershaw returned to form as a career post season loser. Dodgers always choke.
They have been terrible all of the post season
Kershaw just cant get it done in the big games...had a 4 run lead...then a 3 run lead, and doesn’t even last 5 innings. Both Cy Young winners tonight, and both looked tight.
Assuming they are saying the odds on game 6&7 are the same, the Dodgers would have to have a 61.6% chance to win each game to have a 38% chance to win both.
i really like Springer...redeemed himself big time tonight..hes in the running for MVP i think..
My Money is on Verlander. I think the Astros had better win Tuesday.
Absolutely worst bush league play by him in center tonight. Could have cost the series. Idiot. How f’n stupid do you have to be to pull that crap?!
He’s lucky he had the chance to redeem himself.
im in Detroit, and hes the best pitcher the Tigers ever had in my opinion....hes usually lights out in elimination games....i agree..if they dont win tuesday, the Dodgers win in 7..
but he did..no guts..no glory.
Verlander has been on an incredible roll since he joined the Astros. Undefeated, and dominating in this post-season. It would be quite a fluke if he gets roughed up in LA, most likely he will cruise.... Kershaw, otoh, just can’t seem to perform in the biggest games.
Agreed, he didn’t come close to catching that ball. You have to keep it in front of you unless you are sure you can catch it. They teach that in Little League.
Feh!
Liberals care nothing about baseball or other sports in general. Tonight’s loss hurt conservatives who are Dodger fans like myself very much. The best pitchers from both teams didn’t seem to matter much did it?
Congrats to the Astros, I guess.
both sides are saying the baseballs “feel” different...the league put in “juiced baseballs” ...all these home runs does seem kind of strange...Verlander said as much today...pitchers say they cant throw sliders cuz the ball is too “slick”..interesting.
yeah there is a lot of talk about the baseballs..... the league and the manufacturer keep denying anything has changed, but a bunch of pitchers say the ball for the post-season is slicker.... makes sliders tough to throw well.
Stupid play that had almost no gain to it and tremendous loss possible. I would have benched his dumb ass. He easily could have cost Astros the game and the series right then and there. Idiotic play by a stupid ass. I’d like to belt him in the mouth right now as a matter of fact, knock some teeth out and some sense in. Maybe burn his car too.
No true Conservative roots for a team from a blue state like CA. TX is a red state. Get with the program dude!
Velocities are consistently higher than the past, including cutters pressing 100 mph. Power pitching with tight rpms. Can’t call to the replay in NY on every pitch. I give the umpires a thumbs up.
This is probably going to go seven games, it’s as if the same team is playing itself, very similar across the board. And anywhere in the playoffs, it ought to be that way. I’m pulling for Houston only because I’d like to see ex-Tiger Verlander get a ring, I mean besides the one he’ll wear after he marries Kate Upton. #gossipunbecomingapoliticalforum

It’s nice to see him pitching to form again, and to see him with teammates who can actually get hits and RBI.
hey..he tried to make a play...someones gotta make up for some of the worst managing ever seen in baseball...
