Social media users accuse Kevin Spacey of coming out to excuse alleged sexual advance of Anthony Rapp
Kevin Spacey came out as gay Sunday night, but some people think the timing was more of a cover up.
The legendary actor revealed that he’s “living as a gay man” amid an apology to Anthony Rapp, who accused him of trying to seduce him when he was 14 years old.
“This story has encouraged me to address other things about my life. I know that there are stories out there about me and that some have been fueled by the fact that I have been so protective of my privacy. As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women,” Spacey said in a statement.
“I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man. I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior.”
Earlier that night, Rapp had accused Spacey of trying to seduce him in 1986.
“Kevin Spacey is gay? Did he reveal that on Twitter?” one person wrote on Twitter. “Yeah, he announced it to deflect that he tried to HAVE SEX WITH A 14 YEAR OLD BOY.”
“The focus is NOT that kevin spacey is gay the focus IS that kevin spacey made an inappropriate sexual advance on 14-year-old Anthony Rapp,” wrote another.

It's the reason people like myself have always been against the 'normalization' of homosexuality. Because many of them are and have always been trying to recruit children and youths into their perverted sexuality.
I'm surprised that the whole world flipped on it and has decided to treat it as acceptable when it should be treated as a mental disorder as I believe it is.
Children should be protected from this, not indoctrinated to accept it as normal and acceptable. We're doing a terrible number on our future generations that will come back to burn us and our kids.

Because otherwise he’d be a hypocrite. That’s the part they’d be concerned about, not the fact that he was so attracted to a 14-year old boy that he lost his self-restraint — all of them have that fantasy too.

I assume it depends on the state. Since it happened in NY he’s probably safe from prosecution. But I don’t believe it only happened once and I’d bet there are current accusations coming.
The article I read somewhere else tonight says that thankfully for him, Rapp has multiple friends he told about this incident before Spacey became famous, so Rapp has a lot of corroboration if Spacey tries to discredit his story. Albeit not witnesses, but it sounds like his story has not varied over the years.

And hte reason they do is because once they cross that line of normal relationships- ie heterosexual relationships- they give themselves over to lust- and lust is never satisfied- the more they try to satisfy it, the more they crave- and many homosexuals begin to convince themselves that young kids are no longer off limits morally- these gay men and women go on a downward spiral when it comes to morality- and it all begins when they first cross that line and engage in gay sex- that ‘satisfies’ them for awhile- but pretty soon it’s not enough- they want more more more- that is hte nature of sin
We as a society used to protect children- but now- after the last 8 years of obama administration, and the massive push for legalization of gay marriage- trannie bathrooms- pushing the gay agenda in schools etc etc etc- society has decided the feelings of gays are more important than protecting children from those same heinous sexual deviants

Rapp should file a multi-million dollar lawsuit. He’s going to need the money ‘cause his acting career is over.
