“How many times did PIAPS utter those words?”

“I can’t remember
My brain’s in a blender
It’s JELL-o
JELL-o”

Apparently all Democrats feel the same. Unless of course a Republican does it. Then they must get to the bottom of this travesty against the American people.

Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!

Forget $100,000?

Mark Twain declared ‘History does not repeat itself, but it rhymes.’

This is one of those occasions.

During the Harding administration’s Teapot Dome activities, Interior secretary Albert Bacon Fall was secretly given several hundred thousand dollars by oilmen Harry F. Sinclair, and Edward L. Doheny, and in return he allowed them to extract oil from reserves normally saved for strategic military necessity.

At his trial, Fall said there was a semantic mistake. It wasn’t a hundred thousand dollars, but a hundred cows and horses.

The cherry on top of the story is that Fall was convicted of receiving the same money that Doheny and Sinclair were acquitted of having given him.
