It’s amazing how one person in everyday life can have an impact that lasts for years or a lifetime.

Last fall while camping deep in the NC back country a bear hunter was training his dogs and came into our camp as one of his dogs was working its way down the ridge on a logging road.

We asked him many questions about dogs and hunting, offered him coffee and had a great time talking with him.

The next day he showed up again just to talk. Apparently the typical campers in this area are snot nosed elitists that that in his words, “treat us like dirt”. He shared the Gospel with us and said ‘I love y’all and anytime you’re here you’re welcome at my church.’

He teared up when he said the last words. It’s been a year and I still think about it at least once every day.

It was a gospel share.

I love the “arrow from heaven.” Better than anything Cupid could ever do. A truly God inspired moment.

GOD BLESS THEM REDNECKS
