Mueller facing new Republican pressure to resign in Russia probe
Fox News ^ | 10/27/17 | By Brooke Singman

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is facing a fresh round of calls from conservative critics for his resignation from the Russia collusion probe, amid revelations that have called into question the FBI’s own actions and potentially Mueller’s independence....

Critics question whether Mueller’s own ties to the bureau as well as fired FBI director James Comey now render him compromised as he investigates allegations of Russian meddling and collusion with Trump officials in the 2016 race.

“The federal code could not be clearer – Mueller is compromised by his apparent conflict of interest in being close with James Comey,” Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., who first called for Mueller to step down over the summer, said in a statement to Fox News on Friday. “The appearance of a conflict is enough to put Mueller in violation of the code. … All of the revelations in recent weeks make the case stronger.”

Mulehead is about to break open the biggest scandal since the Rosenbergs.

This guy was a complete tool of the Democrats and Clinton's State Department. No way he is going to do the right thing.

“Critics question.” His dem / media friends don’t care at all about the glaring conflicts of interest.

Great point there. I personally believe this is the last fall back position in Muellers arsenal. They may have known this day may one day come to pass. He has no intention of getting Hillary, Obama, et al in the hot seat. However, he will do it to save himself.

There were very good reasons for the founders to insist on a natural born citizen for President.
Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama is proof that they were right.

Exactly. Mueller pretended to go after Trump, and got the big media playing his game. They gained nothing by it, but lost a lot of viewer confidence. No Mueller is about to turn around and go after the Clintons. That’s why all the media are now saying he has to quit. Because he’s threatening to go after the real facts and tell the truth.

Mueller did no harm to Trump. He distracted the media and put them on a losing trail. So, Fox and WSJ and all the rest of the left wing media are furious at having been deceived like that and put in a position where Hillary is the real suspect.

I’ve always had a good impression of Franks, in this case it seems he might not be looking into things deeply enough.

It’s time for Bobby Mueller and his boys to wrap this farce up. It’s getting too expensive to continue with his charade. It was the Obamas, the Clintoons and the “democrats” who were colluding with the Russkis and British spies. We won’t even start yet on the “democrat” collusion with Mexico, Central and South America as well as Islamic terrorist states. We need to save that until we get closer to the 2018 elections.

Trump may be better off just sitting back and letting the drip, drip, drip against Mueller continue. The, at some point in future, Mueller comes out with the hatchet job accusations as part of his “probe” that many of us expect, just calmly dismiss it as just another political attack from a known democrat partisan hack.

Rosenstein was a holdover from the GW Bush Administration. One of the few involved who has actually prosecuted the politically connected. He appointed Mueller because Rosenstein was tasked with quickly quieting the RINO and Dem hounds undercutting the new President Trump. Mueller, as former FBI Director under Dems and Reps, wouldn’t require wrangling with Congress.

Rosenstein may be in on the coverup, but there aren’t many facts showing it, at least not yet.

Why would Mueller go after the Clintons considering Mueller himself is up to his eyeballs in covering up Uranium One?

I would not be surprised if Mueller is on a mission to find and destroy any evidence of Hellry and Mueller’s criminality.

Trump needs to ask for mueller’s resignation. Sessions should have already fired him, shutdown this farce, and fired his deputy AG. He should then “unrecuse” himself and appoint Rudy/Ken Starr as the new special prosecutor on the “dossier” issue.

This stuff is not hard, just requires intestinal fortitude and a backbone. Sessions duty is quite clear here, no warning shutdown Mueller’s crew and escort them from the building.

Especially since no one will ever be prosecuted, why should the US tax payers have to pay for this? The Clintons and the DNC need to get the bill for the entire Mueller team.

Corruption in DC this bad? With trillions of taxpayer dollars sloshing around that town, and pretty much everyone there on the make and/or take, the wonder is that it isn’t even worse. Yes, I’m that cynical these days. DC isn’t a swamp. It’s something vastly worse. Something dark and vile, with no words adequate enough to describe it.

why are “conservative” critics (mainly it seems, Rupert Murdoch via his personal anti-Trump blog, WSJ, and his personal anti-Trump vblog, FNC) suddenly calling for Mueller to resign? They were perfectly happy when Mueller was supposedly “investigating” fake Trump Russian conspiracy “crimes”, but now that Mueller appears to be investigating REAL crimes against Democrats, suddenly they want him to resign ...

You don’t suppose THIS is the REAL reason ol’ Rupert is suddenly no fan of Mueller’s:

If Mueller quit, his replacement might be worse. Look at the political composition of his team.

“His dem / media friends don’t care at all about the glaring conflicts of interest.”

Don’t be fooled by appearances. Team Mueller is going to indict prominent Democrats of major crimes. And that perceived ‘glaring conflict of interest’ will make it very hard for the Dems and the MSM to defend their crooked pals.
