I meant that as well. If the Saudi, for example, was paying for the lawyer, hs could run the bills up to the millions of dollars. This is something that Beck could not do, so it would have been better for him just to settle and cut his losses at some point.
Remarkable. Clock boy’s family sued for libel. At the trial level, Clock boy’s family lost and was ordered to pay the defendants $270,000 for bringing the suit unlawfully. I’m guessing the defendants decided to forego some or all of the $270,000 Clock boy’s family owed them just to end this case.
The joke was on Obozo. He was all over that kid for taking a clock apart. Probably the most complex thing Obozo ever saw taken apart except for the Moocher’s vibrator.
You're almost certainly right. Clock boy's family never intended to pay the $270,000 the trial court ordered them to pay. Beck's decision to just end this was probably the smartest one he could make.
That was a classic case of the PR cigar exploding (no pun intended) in Obama’s face.
He thought it was the perfect opportunity to politicize an incident in the public schools and moan about ‘Islamophobia’ as well as immigration matters.
When Clock Boy turned out to be a combination of fraud and idiot it was too late for the Obamaites who had already invited the malignant little bastard (Clock Boy, that is, not Obama although the tag fits him) to the White House for a Bergdahl style anti-patriotic moment. They evetually weaseled their way out of it by having Clock Boy briefly meet Obama in an intentionally crowded, chaotic room and both went their separate ways quickly. Obama’s ego would not permit him to lose face so they cooked up their smarmy little half measure.

No doubt Obama isn’t qualified to scoop ice cream. But I think it gave him another chance to pimp the “See how amazing muslims are!” propaganda. He was a sympathizer at a minimum. He knew the country just had to stay stupid on the “religion of peace” thingy.
Just like he jumped on the Trayvon thing. Just like he wept fake tears over what that idiot Dylan Roof did yet never wept over what happens in Chicago each week.
