And I've pretty much accepted that most of the last half hour of Rush's shows are pretty irrelevant, unless you enjoy listening to infomercials about Boll & Branch sheets, SimpliSafe, LifeLock, etc.
I'd like to hear more about Uranium One from Rush... he spent about 30 seconds on it today. Hope to hear more next week. Afternoon talk show hosts Sean Hannity and Howie Carr (New England) are *all over* Uranium One.
I'm still a big Rush fan, and tune in every day, but... I won't deny it. I miss 'the old days' of Rush's show.
We are a different breed, unique audience, here at FR. We are light years ahead of the average person who tunes into Rush for 15 minutes.Few are in our league.
We already know what he will cover, more or less what he will say, and the end game he is going to. The rest of the audience does not have a clue.!
It's impossible for him to gear his show towards us. If he did his audience would shrink big time. He really can't even take our calls,it gets too confusing for the audience.Talk radio is all about bringing the level of conversation down to where 90-95% of the audience are all on board. No one does it better than Rush since he created the medium.
He has to broadcast to the man from Minnesota with one year of college under his belt.If he doesn't his numbers will crash.
