When I cheerfully say, “Good Morning!” and the kid behind the counter holds up their wait-one-minute-while-I-finish-typing-this-text-message finger and then scowls and flares his/her nostrils at me...that is my immediate cue to go elsewhere, pronto.
A person with that much seething anger is only too eager to do something disgusting. Much nicer to take our business where staff is genuinely pleasant and upbeat.
