Sounds like your metabolism runs through the drugs pretty quickly. Same happened to my sister. Everyone is different.
From my understanding. .....one has to me monitored. Nasty drug.
If I was in excruciating pain with terminal cancer I’d take it in a New York minute.
.
True!
But with Hospices. ....the drug of choice is usually Morphine.
In the case of this pharma company they were bribing doctors to prescribe it even more.
So I still stand by my original statement.
Thanks for the opinion...
You’re an idiot.
For those of you that have NO F*CKING IDEA what your posting about, other than ‘your’ experience with a isolated procedure, please stop.

Yeah..because it’s dirt cheap and has a half-life 3-4 x as long as Fentanyl.
The issue isn’t the meds..it’s how they’re used.
Your usage is quite different than a doctor prescribing it for a patient to self medicate. Even for legitimate reasons that is a dangerous thing to do. One reason is because of the fact that the body builds tolerance, and the person may think increasing his dosage to 2 will not be a problem. But increasing a narcotic that powerful can prove to be fatal.
I'm willing to listen as to why you make that claim.
“You might not be hooked on drugs but you appear to be hooked on defending drug hawkers a.k.a. Big Pharma.”
Where do you suggest people get pain killers or other medications?
Make it themselves?
All docs are bribed to sell drugs.
You may have the red hair gene. I do. Found that out the hard way, felt the knife in two c sections. So I know how seppuku feels. I have blonde hair, no strawberry blonde either. I do have two our four kids with red hair. So I have that gene, and I need a lot more anesthetic than others. Not true for opiates or alcohol but all the anesthetics.
but they were almost forcibly pushed into treating pain when there was a national protocol that hospitals and drs MUST treat pain, and treat it until the pt said it was treated...
thus the laughing young woman talking on her cell phone claiming she was in horrible "number 10" pain HAD to be treated, no matter what the doc or nurse objectively witnessed...
the biggest issue is we have a weak, self absorbed populace who think any pain at all needs to have a drug...
sometimes versed AND fentanyl are used...just enough but not too much..
my first coli I was awake...watched the clock...did feel fuzzy...but I could feel the presence of the tube and them pushing on my abdomen afterwards, but I had no pain...
No one said the doctors themselves are not involved in it. Just taking the bribe is criminal, but then prescribing it when it is overkill is downright amoral
