I agree. Further, I think this is evidence soft dementia. I’ve heard of family members over age 90 acting in ways they never would have at she, say, 75.
You nailed it. I have two male relatives, who in their 90’s did such things as dementia set in.
Yet in their former adult life, they were polite and mannered.
Most 90 year-olds have some form of dementia. They become like children not knowing what are proper manners anymore. So they just do what comes to mind without thinking about it.
Such is surely the case with George HW Bush.
People need to cut him some slack and just don’t put him in situations where he’s in close proximity to women.
