Yes, I think you’re hinting at the question I was going to ask the disgruntled among us: how do you know it’s a “middle class tax increase”? I haven’t seen the details to indicate this. Please share where you’ve seen the specifics that will result in a tax increase on the middle class. Also, please define “middle class” in terms of family income. Thanks.
This is an entire budget. There is even specific language in the bill regarding eliminating deductions. Thats one reason why many voted against it. Its not the final product, but the tax raisers just scored a major victory. This was not a vote over National Pickle Month.
I believe the budget adopted increased the deficit 1.5 trillion so I can see how you likely will not get a tax cut in this reform package.
My guess is if you currently pay taxes on your income you will get an increase, if you are not currently paying taxes on your income you will get a cut.
