A second woman has accused former President George H.W. Bush of groping her.
Jordan Grolnick, a New York actress, said that she has a similar story to the one Heather Lind shared about the former president fondling her during a photo op, according to Deadspin.
Bush apologized through a spokesman in a statement earlier Wednesday. The statement said that on occasion, he has patted womens rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner and routinely tells a joke.
To anyone he has offended, President Bush apologizes most sincerely, the statement said.
Lind wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post reported by The Daily Mail on Tuesday that Bush "assaulted me while posing for a... photo."
"When I got the chance to meet George H. W. Bush four years ago to promote a historical television show I was working on, he sexually assaulted me while I was posing for a similar photo. He didnt shake my hand. He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side. He told me a dirty joke, Lind wrote.
I agree it’s not only men. If this wasn’t accompanied by a hand around a woman’s back end and that creepy “joke” I wouldn’t believe it either. I didn’t until the second story came out.
I agree with you. I pulled up a number of photos and where there are women, his arm is around their rear. I realize that’s where his arm level is in a wheelchair, but it should be in has lap or used to shake hands.
Some of those Hooters girls aren’t really all that beautiful...However, there’s not a two-bagger in the bunch.
GHWB is not himself anymore. He looks like a cardboard cutout they’re just wheeling around for photo opportunities.
Mass hysteria among women. Not a rare phenomenon. The “ME TOO” crap was designed to condemn all men and taint them all as evil predators.
It makes me sick when people do that. Give him some privacy, at home. You didn’t see them hauling a senile Reagan around for glad handing.
Never forget that HW CHOSE to not go after Bill Clinton’s womanizing in 1992.
Exactly. Not too far back a playful goosing from an honored elder would have been something to brag about and giggle w your girlfriends about.
The women who are really getting getting assaulted are those getting raped and gang raped by Muslims (like the Yazidis) in their wars and in the UK. If Harvey raped a girl this is serious. As far as him jerking off in front of them they need to find a new profession and leave acting. If forced to give Jabba a massage this is also serious.
ALL MEN, according to feminism, are at fault for everything.
Wow, take that Saddam Hussein!
George H.W. Bush has been paling around with Bill Clinton too long, Slick Willy has obviously been teaching him some bad habits....
we need soul change of individuals, not some law about social behavior.
heck not to totally excuse ghw bush but his arm seems an appropriate height from his shoulder in those photos. He is obviously not super mobile being in wheel chair and elderly. If all these women have is his hand was on their hip or glut max for a minute during photos they really have nothing.
He really said “David-Cop-A-Feel”?? Freaking hilarious.
Bush has admitted to this behavior through a spokesman. Patting women’s rear ends, “David Cop-a-feel”. This is not fabricated stuff in this case unless one is just saying, it never should have come to light and the women are now exploiting this.
I’ve looked at a very leftie site and they were all in agreement with you. They told story after story of older relatives who lost their social filters in old age.
And? A lot of NFL cheerleaders have accused others of sexual harassment too.
I do think a lot of this is societal, look at all that is coming to the surface in Hollywood, look at abortion, out-of-wedlock births and on down the line.
Odd that these women are coming forward now. Are they seriously attempting to equate this with Weinstein’s abuse?
To all of them I would say the same thing I say to my grandchildren when they say another child pushed/hit them last week. If it was important to you, you should have/would have said something then. Reporting it much later when it is harder to sort out what happened is just stirring trouble.
Admits to behavior; I’m just not finding the sympathy some are.
