Jeb and McCain, yes, they both hate Trump, but Mitt? He is not the vindictive type. I don't think he has an axe to grind here.
When the dossier came out in January, Mitt was still groveling before the President because he (Mitt) thought he had a chance in Trump's cabinet. I don't think Mitt would be so stupid as to sabotage his own chances with the new President by paying for dirt to smear him.
