If she was running around her desk, she was probably trying to make it rain.

There is nothing about her worth chasing.

Yeah, I think everyone knew there was some, maybe a lot of, exaggeration in her story.
But I have been having fun remembering the Three Stooges episode in which the boys are disguised as Indians —with Curly as a squaw — and Curly gets forced into marriage with a French trapper, and he’s chasing Curly around on the wedding night. Woo woo woo woo woo!

Maybe they do not; and that is what this is about.
But just about any female can find a male looking for a ride.

Did she specify if someone was just trying to chase her away?
To: Zakeet
This is classic Warren. There appears to be a kernel of truth Yeah, that she was once a professor. After that, no more kernels.

Maybe she was chasing someone around the desk and he was running faster than her.

The male professor had polio and yet he managed to chase her around the desk?
Sure.
To: Zakeet
I was there and saw it all. The US 7th Calvary led by George Custer was trying to capture her.
General Custer himself was the one chasing her around the desk.
This was a week before Little Big Horn.

Having her chase you would be strong motivation.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren reportedly switched up her account of sexual harassment that she relayed this weekend in a televised #MeToo testimonial from an earlier light-hearted version
.
But the Boston Globe reported last night that Warren recounted the same incident in a more light-hearted manner at a memorial service after the professors death in 1997 an account the Globe noted was inconsistent with her story on Sunday.
During the service after his death in 1997, Warren spoke fondly of law professor Eugene Smith and told the gathered mourners she was laughing as Smith chased her around his desk, according to a colleagues memoir, the Globe reported.
The paper also noted that Warren failed to mention on Meet The Press that Smith had polio.
