A society needs people of various skills and experiences. And being in a rarefied intellectual echelon doesn’t make a body all-wise. I remember the comment made by Dr. Louis Pasteur that he wished he had as much faith as a lowly Breton woman. And yet he still was a vessel of God’s blessings to the world.
Maybe the bifecta would be to be, like me, a high tech redneck. I can go low and I can go high and carry the blessing of the Lord either way. But that’s rare. And it also tends to get you special attention from Satan... I can tell about it.
