“The opposition research firm behind the Trump dossier says that a House Intelligence Committee subpoena seeking its bank records has a good chance of “ruining” its business, as well as of putting its clients’ safety at risk.”

Sounds really good to me!

So it is ok for Fusion GPS to ruin other people’s lives with their opposition research, but we cannot see who their clients are as it might ruin them?

Yeah, right, that should go well with anyone who has more than 2 brain cells.

“the Trump DOJ”

Not possible that Sessions has any relationship to this DOJ, is there? I.e.: it’s solely on Trump, and Sessions is a helpless, powerless, innocent and impotent bystander?

Does seem like the logical action.

Democracy Dies in Darkness, as the Washington Post declares.

According to various news reports, Fusion was first hired in September 2015 by a Republican “Never Trumper” to investigate the real estate mogul.

My money's on Pleaseclap Bush. It goes a long way toward explaining his recent attack on President Trump.

My reading of the Tea Leaves:

Phase 1 that ended with the Trump Nomination:
JEB Bush or Bush Surrogate possibly aided by McCain

Phase 2 After Trump Nomination:
Hillary Surrogate also possibly aided by McCain and other RINOs.

Publishing libel is not protected by the First or anything else found in the Constitution. Find out who paid for this. Put this lying democrat party tool out of business.

“it’s solely on Trump”

No, of course not. If JS wanted to move forward I don’t believe Trump would stop him, but it is a very intriguing question why DT does not ORDER his subordinate employee to fulfill a DT campaign promise.

All Trump can do is ask. He has asked Sessions numerous times why he’s not investigating people like Hillary Clinton. Sessions ignores him. All Trump can do is fire him. That is probably not a practical option. The MSM would have hysterics for the foreseeable future, and the Senate has vowed not to confirm a replacement.

Trump has plenary control over the DOJ. He has ABSOLUTE POWER to order or end any investigation at any time, period! He can do so without consulting or firing JS.

If it was paid for originally by a Republican never-Trumper, my money is on Jeb!, McCain, or Sasse. All culprits devoted to maintaining the status quo. Since McCain admitted to delivering the document to the FBI, my money is on him. It also might explain why McCain has gone into virulent overdrive recently.

McCain. He paid for it, received it, and forwarded it to the lackeys of the FBI.

Ruin their crooked business and put clients at risk of prosecution.

And the down side here is...

Tell that to Reagan-appointed former AG Mukasey. He says all Trump can do is ask.

Who to believe...an actual former AG or a person who goes out of their way to blame Trump.

Hmm....

So you seriously believe you know more about it than an actual US Attorney General.

I am NOT Surprised.
