Well, I can say with authority that I would rather have a simultaneous root canal and IRS audit than fly. And even if I had to, I would never avail myself of PreCheck’s services. It’s bad enough government has my info, I’m not giving it to a private company.

But if other folks want to, fine by me. As long as their fellow taxpayers AIN’T paying for it. :-)

If the government has your info (as in being in the military or civilian) then sorry, but PRIVATE COMPANIES also have it. The government contracts out everything, as we learn when those companies don’t bother with trying to keep data secure.

Lots of private companies have info on you already. Let's just say that you should wish they took the security of your data as seriously as we do.

BTW, MY own personal data was compromised by the government in the OPM data breach. If we compromise your data, we can be sued or even put in jail. If the government does it, nobody gets punished.
