Yes. I don’t think this is a good thing.
At the end of the week(s), some idiots won’t have enough left for the rent, insurance, electric bill, etc.
The first week of work without a paycheck is a long one.
I can see how some people would need money sooner.

OMG! Having built tables for major computer conversions in the HR/Payroll area, giving all employees a choice in their pay frequency would be an administrative nightmare — almost not do-able.
Did you get the part about this being an outside agency doing this for the employer for $1.00 per employee per month?
And if my employer did this, they’d probably pass that cost on to the employees...the way they require me to wear uniforms...and require me to pay the $10.00 per month rental for same.
It’s a lot easier to budget. I went from bi-weekly (26 pay periods), to twice monthly (24 pay periods) to once a month (12 pay periods). I still haven’t gotten used to that.
