Yes, it is on his shoulders. So far, he has held his ‘fire’. I would have fired Sessions, Rosenstein, Mueller, McCabe, etc. long ago.
There must be a good reason for DJT to be holding back. I truly don’t think he is part of the swamp. My mind keeps going back to a story he told during the campaign...the one where he was negotiating a deal with a Japanese company. It was him vs. 20+ of the sharpest dudes. And when it was complete, one of the 20+ said to him, “We just couldn’t figure you out”.
I think that is the key. DJT’s genius/intellect/strategic planning abilities so far exceed even the sharpest of the competition, that it can’t be figured out by the rest of us.
He may be waiting until he has a less-polluted Congress who won’t be able to thwart him. It may be that Bannon and DJT launched Bannon’s campaign toward that end. We may never know.
The only other conclusion is that he is part of the swamp, and I really just don’t see that.
