I will state out the outset I can be wrong. So far, on almost all the big calls, I haven’t been but there’s always a first time.
That said, I think Robert Mueller is doing exactly what Donald Trump (yes, Donald Trump!) hired him to do. Oh, did you forget? Trump hired Mueller. Well, Rod Rosenstein hired him . . . the day after Trump “interviewed” Mueller for the FBI position.
Mueller works for Mueller and nobody else, including the present President of the United States. What unethical deals he made with Obama and Holder need to be exposed and punished.
Look at how far the FBI leadership has fallen under recent Democrat Presidents (Clinton and Obama).
At least J. Edgar Hoover tried to protect the US from its enemies, domestic and foreign. The Obama/Clinton regimes became the “enemies, domestic”.

One thing I didn’t see mentioned in the article was something that happened during the recent Sessions congressional testimony. When he was asked if Mueller had questioned him he didn’t want to answer and then finally he said “no”. Just seemed kind of strange. Like he was trying to keep something secret.
I am still not sure that Mueller is going to drain the swamp because he is the swamp.

Larry is not a leftist. Far from it. He’s also a regular poster here. He was spot on about the election outcomes and has been tracking changes in voter rolls and party affiliation diligently.
Mueller got to the Podesta Group by way of investigating Paul Manafort’s finances. First, we have to assume that Mueller is actually looking into the Podesta Group. I know it has been reported, but who knows if it is really true? If we do make that assumption, then perhaps we can conclude that Mueller will follow the evidence where it leads.
This is when FR needs a “block” option.
