Wait, people still go to malls?
My sentiments exactly. brick and mortar are definitely on the way out. I shop supermarkets and costco. After that its mostly all done on line.

I haven't been to a mall for about a decade. The closest one is in another town about 15 miles away.
We went there for Christmas shopping during the economic meltdown during GW's last year to get stuffed animals for the grand kids. The local police had closed down the substation in the mall. The teens and hordes of 20 somethings had taken over the non police patrolled mall. The so called private Security guys were afraid to do anything. I was very uncomfortable with the hordes of teens and 20 somethings milling inside and about the mall. After shopping, I told my wife that I was not going back there. She said I was over acting. Within a week, several strong armed robberies happened in the mall parking lots that were reported, (many were probably not reported). My wife knew two women, who were robbed outside that mall. One had presents stolen that she was carrying and from inside her car stolen. Another had her vehicle car hi jacked as she was trying to enter it. She wasn't hurt and was terrified for weeks after that. We finished our Christmas shopping on the internet, and now it is 99% via the internet. This year, we will also, use the military exchanges via the new online program for veterans. Their new program offers great prices, free shipping and no California sales tax.
